- 2.0 Minutes of the previous meeting
- 2.1 Minutes of the previous meeting were read, signed and agreed by all the councillors.Noted
- 3.0 Matters Arising
- 3.1 The new village sign has now been erected, slightly further down the road to the station. Thanks to AF for carrying this out.Noted
- 3.2 Herts Highways The salt bin by the church still needs to be moved. Up to 850kgs of salt is available from www.hertsdirect.org/services/transtreets/highways/hhonlineservices/saltingroutes/selfhelpsaltbag. MB to contact website to get our quota.MB
- 3.3 The bridleway is now complete.Noted
- 3.4 The War Memorial Trust have again been contacted by MW. Records have been deleted on their website and there was no note of Bayford. Photos have been resent and it has now deteriorated even more. LH asked the approx. cost and stated that maintenance has to be done by contractors chosen by the trust in order to get a grant. LH also suggested there may be money available in budget next year. Terry Hayne suggested painting a coating on the memorial to make it last longer.MW

- 6.1 Bayford Lane - Councillor Ken has been in touch with Raj Gutam of Ringway and he is optimistic the maintenance will take place but as yet date unknown. The drains should be cleaned every 18 months.Noted
- 6.2 Colin Taylor is to look into a way of getting better interest on the charity account money.Noted/CT
- 6.3 Quarry - Frank Lyons application still not submitted. Petition to be actioned once application has been received.Noted
- 6.4 Playground Inspection report has been received - this was read out and relevant points noted.Noted
- 6.5 D. Cook has been in contact re potential sewage into Bayford Brook from Riverside Garden Centre. MW went to see her but there was no evidence at the time of this occurring.Noted
- 6.6 Yellow lines at Bayford Station and the school are imminent.Noted
- 6.7 The Strategic Land Availability is ongoing.Noted
- 6.8 Bill Brace asked if the Horse Chestnut tree by the bus shelter could be pruned.Noted
- 6.9 Neville Hudson asked who owned the trees alongside the football pitch/ road as he pruned the lower branches this year.Noted
- 6.10 Colin Taylor announced that there is to be a new kitchen installed in the village hall courtesy of the estate of the late Cyril Judge.Noted

Letter received from EHDC re training on Charitable Trusts for councillors.
